Seven Hills Review — seniors speak out

Winter 2004

This year, at the request of our Senior Editors, all of the teen editors wrote this section together. Each sentence was written by an editor then passed on to the next editor who added on, until we had a short poem. The question is, who wrote what?

Where milk and thoughts flow together in grade A cream,
Here’s where I’m supposed to get angry… damnit!
We just pass and pass and pass,
such a circle we are a continuous thought,
pigeons of poems,
Lactating Teats and frozen meats
Implore such birds to make retreats
Lost in the frozen food and dairy aisles,
This is no safe haven for the lactose intolerant,
but cunning minds are always welcome
Scented markers stimulate lazy minds
into talkative routine
where angelic sighs and caffeine highs burn holes through souls
and boxer shorts
(insert thoughtful pause here)
Now when the ending comes we jump for joy
That we accomplished the most wonderfulest magazine
