Cosplay 2013 @ the TeenSpot
Are you ready to party? The Library cordially invites you and all of your friends to Cosplay 2013! Saturday June 1st teens from all over are welcome to the TeenSpot downtown for an afternoon full of anime, manga, art, gaming, and most of all FUN! Bring your friends and have a great time!
The day is going to be jam-packed! Here are just a few of the events taking place:
- Origami folding demonstrations and lessons
- Anime showing
- DDR
- Board Games
All of this leads up to the main event… the contests! There will be two separate contests: one for costumes and another for skits. Create the perfect outfit and start planning your skit now because we have lots of prizes to give away! We will also have loads of manga, anime and comics on sale!
We know you cannot wait for June 1st to arrive, but in the mean time check out our Getting Graphic: Manga and Graphic Novels booklist!
P.S. Snacks and drinks will be provided for all participants.
This is event is for 12-18 year olds. Costume must be age appropriate.
