Monsters, Vampires and Werewolves oh my! This year's theme for Summer Reading is Creature Feature and you can get your growl-on beginning June 1st through July 31st.

Summer Reading game cards are available at your local branch starting Monday, June 1st or you can print one out online. Use the card to track your progress all summer long. After reading for six hours, you win a clock memo man. After six addition hours of reading, you get your choice of a free book and you are entered into the grand prize drawing. The grand prize this year is a $25 gift card to Target. For every additional three hours of reading, you receive another entry for the grand prize.

The best part is, you can read what you like! Magazines, audio books, comic books, manga or graphic novels - all types of reading counts toward your Summer Reading - Creature Feature hours.

On Friday, June 5th, there are 10 Summer Reading Kick-Off parties featuring board games or video games, food and music. These parties take place at the Bond Hill, Mt. Healthy, and TeenSpot (Main Library) locations from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and at the Anderson, College Hill, Covedale, Green Township, Harrison, Reading, and Sharonville locations from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
