The Glass Castle: a memoir
by Jeannette Walls
Call Number: 362.82092 W215Zw 2005

The Glass Castle is a memoir about the poverty-stricken upbringing of a family by the hands of the parents and the experiences Jeannette Walls and her sibliings went through. I chose it as a reading book for school, but I found myself being so interested in it that I couldn't stop reading it after school. Although, a reletively heavy book and best read knowing that it is a little mature, I think it is such an important one that can really open your eyes to see and appreciate how good you have it in your own life. Even after finishing the book, I wanted to reread it! 5/5 for sure, and I definitely recommend The Glass Castle to anyone who wants a book that is a little heavier and a deeper read!
