The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

by Mark Haddon
Categories: mystery, realistic
This book is the story of a boy with a disabliity, who goes out in search of his mother(whom his father told him was dead), and ends up learning about himself and the world around him.
I really enjoyed this book, although it was a little boring at times. Take it from a girl who reads too much, that it doesn't sound that interesting, but it will open up a whole new perspective to you.

The book is about a fifteen-year-old boy called Christopher who has photographic memory, he loves science and math, but the one thing he can’t figure out, is peoples emotions and expressions. When his neighbor’s dog Wellington dies, he plans to find out who murdered him, but while overcoming fears, he discovers maybe a lot more than he bargained.
I haven't finished this book yet, I am on chapter 151, the chapters are marked with prime numbers, I’m not so sure why, but Christopher is a queer but interesting guy. He has his funny ways with people... and relates a lot to Real Life situations. I'm very pleased that my best friend recommended this book to me because it is well written by Mark Haddon who I think has the talent to write such books that they don't sound cheesy or fake, but just right!
