Nia is a 16-year-old mermyds of the Bluefin Clan and the trials to become an Avatar are coming up. There are 10 Avatars who rule the city of Atlantis and are bonded to the ancient Farworlders. Nias one dream is to become one of the 10. Atlantis is now choosing a new Avatar to join the 10 but what Nia doesn't know this, something everyone, even her grandfather is keeping from her, if they can't keep her from becoming Avatar it could be the end of Atlantis.
