Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

by Eoin Colfer
Category: fantasy
The book is about a teenage mastermind who steals fairy technology and makes it his own. But a corporate giant takes it from Artemis. Artemis goes on an adventure to retrieve it.
I thought the book was great. It is a thrilling adventure story about fairies and other mystical creatures. It is also is a funny page-turner with some drama. Once I started reading it I could not put it down.

This novel is a wonderful read about Artemis Fowl, a child prodigy, and criminal mastermind. As his third and final adventure begins to unravel, Artemis has found a way to build a supercomputer from stolen fairy technology. Called the "C cube," it will render all existing human technology obsolete. Artemis arranges a meeting with businessman, Jon Spiro to offer to suppress the cube for one year, in return for gold, Artemis's favorite substance. Although every thing seems to be going according to plan, the conference ended up being a trap! Spiro steals the cube and mortally wounds Butler. Now Artemis's only hope of saving Butler relies on fairy magic-and for that he is forced to contact his old rival, Captain Holly Short of the LEPrecon fairy police. This adventure mainly focuses around rescuing his friend, stealing back the cube, putting Spiro out of business-permanently! There is also something mysterious for you to figure out.
This book was surprisingly better than the other two, and had a more sufficient plot. I would hope that any one who enjoyed reading the first two novels reads this book, and even people who never read any of this series.

Artemis Fowl, the teenage criminal prodigy, has invented a machine from fairy technology that will make all other technology worthless. When he meets with Jon Spiro, a criminal businessman, to make a deal for this machine, called the C Cube, Spiro steals the C Cube, and his bodyguard, Arno Blunt, mortally wounds Butler, Artemis's bodyguard. Now Artemis Fowl must call upon the fairies underground once more to save Butler and get the C Cube back. But it will take a miracle to save Butler, and Spiro is more than Artemis ever bargained for.
It was wonderful, except for the ending. There was action, excitement, apprehension, and friendship. Anyone who enjoyed the previous Artemis Fowl books will love this one.
