Angel, not popular but not a nobody, is the average middle-class girl where in one night of jealously she makes a life changing mistake. She takes a nine month journey into her impending motherhood as she faces shunning at school for what they find as the not so smart choice, and by her best friend Kiran, who for one is just too freaked out even though her situation wasn't all that different. But her good friend Danny steps in and it makes her feel confused at first but learns to trust him even after he shut her out at first, so they can go through the situation together.
