Among the Impostors

by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Category: science fiction
Well, the first book is Among the Hidden. But this book, Among the Imposter, is the second. It’s about all these third children who are illegal. And so Luke, the main character, is also a third child and tries to get away from the population police before they catch him. Luke gets a fake I.D. so he can be free and his name is Lee Grant, a filthy rich baron. And then Luke/Lee Grant is now going to Hendricks private school that’s only where boys go.
What I liked about the book is that Luke, a hidden child, tries to hide from the population police. And it’s cool because Luke has to hide from the population police before they catch them. If they catch him they will kill him and with a bill $5,000,000/5 million dollars to their parents.

This book is about a kid named Luke and he goes to a new school named "Hendricks". He uses a fake idenity to get in the school because he is a shadow child. A shadow child is a person that the governmant doesn't allow because there isn't enough food for everyone else to live on. He also meets other shadow children at his school and he becomes friends with them.
I like the book because it was really suprising and it also had a great ending. It was really entertaining.
