Carpe Diem

by Autumn Cornwell
Category: realistic
This book is about a girl named Vassar. She has her whole life planned out: make valedictorian, get into Vassar for college, & marry a tall handsome surgeon. But all these plans go down the toilet when her "grandmother" calls and tells her she's taking her on a trek through some Middle Eastern jungle. She’s sent on an errand while her parents try to talk her "grandmother" out of it and when she overhears the words blackmail, rubber ball, egg, & some other words I can't remember. Now she's determined to go on the trip and try to figure out the big family secret. While she's in Asia she meets an Asian cowboy who she finds strangely attractive. She has many troubles going to the bathroom. And many more adventures.
I really liked this book. I found her troubles about going to the bathroom and eating Asian food extremely amusing.
