An average girl named Bella Swan moves to a place called Forks, where it almost always rains, from Pheonix, Arizona. She discovers the secret of the local mysterious family, the Cullens, they're vampires! Bella falls in love with the "youngest" Cullen, the gorgeous Edward. Edward and Bella are crazy in love, but, another coven of vampires come with a threat that could change everything.
This book is completely amazing. The characters are so real that it feels as though you are in the story. Bella and Edward's love for each other is aggressive and enthralling, it's very Romeo and Juliet. Even though the movie is good, the book is extremely better!!!

Bella moves to Forks and gets rescued by Edward the Vampire whom she slowly falls in love with, but is also frightened by.
I thought the plot was kind of cheesy but other than that it was a pretty good book.

Well, a girl called Bella moves to live with her dad so her mum can get on with her new husband. She meets the gorgeous Edward Cullen. They fall in love, but what Bella doesn't know is that the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her in danger.

This book is about a sixteen-year-old girl named Bella who just moved from Phoenix to Forks. She meets a gorgeous looking vampire named Edward who she falls in love with. At the end, Bella almost gets killed because an evil vampire bites her, but Edward sucked the venom out right away while he was trying not to suck out her blood at the same time.
This is the best book I have read in a long time.

A romance between a vampire (Edward) and a human (Bella), and how they struggle to stay together as Edward battles with the monster inside of him and tries to live without human blood, and when the two worlds clash.
I loved the book and am now a diehard twihard, I loved how Stephenie goes into so much detail about the observations Bella makes, and the restraint Edward uses to keep from killing Bella. This book also has the perfect balance of romance, adventure, and drama.

Bella Swan moves to a small town where everyone knows who she is. Bella meets Edward Cullen. Edward saves Bella. kiss kiss fall in love.
One of the best books I have ever read. I plan on reading it along with the rest of the series a few days before August 2nd so as soon as I'm done I can start the fourth book. Most of my friends have read it. We would even stop history class (6 people in that class have read it) to have Twilight discussion. I have told almost every single one of my friends to read this book it's the best. I wasn't going to read it, because everyone else was then when I bought it I almost ate it. It was one of the best books I have ever read.

Isabella (or Bella) goes to stay at her dad's house in Forks, a city where it is rainy and snowy and green all the time. She doesn't like it at first and she thinks she wont fit in at school, but everyone there is so nice she finds herself looking forward to the days at school that seem to pass quickly. She notices a group of kids that don’t always seem to fit in or be apart of everything. Her friend tells her that they are the Cullens. The Cullens are beautiful and look the same in many ways, but they are all adopted. One of the cullens, Edward, falls in love with Bella, and Bella falls in love with him to, they spend a lot of time together, and Bella finds out the Edward is a vampire, he doesn’t drink human blood, only animal blood. He can't stay away from her and she can't stay away from him, they are to deeply in love to part from each other. He saves her life multiple times. She meets his family too. In the end, everything works out except she wants to be a vampire too...
I loved this book. Every time I put it down I could only leave it there for a few seconds and then it would be back in my hands. I read this book in not even 2 days. I had to hide it to go to sleep so I wouldn’t get up in the middle of the night to read it... This is a must-read for girls and boys ages 10-20 Its AMAZING!

The book is about a sixteen year old girl whose life turns around when she falls in love with a vampire. Edward Cullen, who is much older than seventeen, loves her back just as much. It’s so hard for them to love because of his ongoing restraint not to kill her. In the sequel, "New Moon", it says that her blood 'sings' to him.
IT WAS AWESOME! Meyer made every character believable and relatable. She made it so that there were facts fused with fiction, making it unbelievably believable.

This book is about a young girl called Bella who moves from Phoenix to a small town called Forks in the Washington Region. She can’t comprehend the always gloomy weather but slowly starts to fit in and find her feet there. The book is based around the incredibly intriguing relationship between Bella and a beautiful boy called Edward. There is something seemingly unnatural about Edward's superb paleness and his supernatural tendencies. His whole family has the same oddity about them. They are all beautiful beyond humanly natural and they all have glowingly pale skin. She falls irrevocably in love with Edward and finds out that he and his family are vampires. Although they control there habits and have trained themselves not to hunt humans. Edward craves Bella in more than one way and it turns into an enticing and complicated turn of events which results in a great story.
At first I didn't think I would like this book. It was a best seller and I often have a bit of a thing about romantic best sellers. They seem to have a predictable story line and an obvious ending. I found that I enjoyed this book a lot though. It reminded me strangely of Harry potter. With the deep torn emotions and the twist of a fantasy that seems more like a reality. This book is a great story for people that really believe in true love. It helped me to understand what it might be like to love someone and lose someone. I have always been skeptical about these certain emotions until I read this book. It was a beautiful read.

Seventeen-year-old Isabella Swan moves to a town in Washington named Forks and meets Edward Cullen, a gorgeous boy who turns out to be a 100-year-old vampire. Despite all this, they fall in love and, in the midst of impossible trials, find their way back to each other.
I started reading Twilight because everyone kept on asking me if I'd read it and whenever I'd say, "No," they would all tell me, "You HAVE to read it. It's so nice. I love Edward Cullen." I downloaded the PDF file because my sister said that it wasn't all that great and I didn't want to waste my money. I started reading it a few days ago and so far... I'm not a fan. I don't like it at all. It's not that I hate it, though. I just really don't like it. Bella and Edward are a Mary Sue and Gary Stu respectively. If you aren't familiar with the terms, search them on Wikipedia. Things that bothered me: 1. The dialogue and narration was not very well-written (I cannot believe they are saying that Twilight is better than Harry Potter, which you couldn't call "the greatest book ever" either) 2. Edward and Bella fell in love after two days -- impossible 3. It is always being mentioned how Edward is "perfect/muscular/graceful/god-like/beautiful" -- in the sun, Edward GLITTERS!? 4. The repetitive dialogue

It is about this girl, Bella who's 17, who moves to Forks, Washington and she meets this boy there, Edward. She finds out later he is a vampire...but she still doesn't care. She loves him so much she'll risk her life for him. She wants him to change her so she can spend eternity with him.
This is my ALL TIME favorite book. The author is a very good writer. She keeps you wondering and turning pages, staying up all night just to finish. But after it makes you begging for more. It has a wide range of themes, horror, romance, action, everything! The age range is for 17-ish people but they have eight year olds to even eighty-six year olds reading it. Guys are finally getting into it too. Once you read it you'll be obsessed!

A girl named Bella Swan moves to her divorced Dad's house in Forks, Washington. She meets a young man named Edward who is a mystery to her. He does a numerous of impossible things and at first and seems to hate her for no reason whatsoever. Could he be a vampire? What other dangers come as part of the deal of knowing a vampire?
I LOVED this book. This series is my favorite series ever! If you read it, you will get hooked! I gave it to some of my friends at school and they devoured the book within days and were asking for the sequels which I own. This is the first book of the series and is probably my favorite.

It's about a girl named Bella who moves to Forks to live with her father. In school, she meets Edward Cullen and his siblings. They become friends and they soon fall in love. Seems pretty simple, right? Only, it's not. Because Edward and his family are vampires.
I loved this book! It is definitely my favorite. It starts off a little slow in the beginning but it's still worth it.

This series is about a teenage girl named Bella and when she moves to Forks, Washington, she learns that Edward and his family are vampires. Bella creates an unbreakable emotional attachment with Edward and his family of six and would unhesitantly do ANYTHING for them. As their relationship develops, Bella sets her future with Edward and wants to make it last literally eternally. But when one of them realizes that it is not safe for them to be with each other, they leave the other in pieces and take their lover's heart with them.
These books were unbelievably awesome. My friend said to read it, but I said no because it had vampires and I am not really into Sci-fi, but these books were brilliant. I read the first three in 6 days. Stephanie Meyer really knows how to capture someone and put them in the book. Seriously, it really felt like I was in it. READ THEM.. 19.99 at Barnes and Nobles !!!!!!!!!

The book is about a girl named Isabella Swawn (Bella) who has just moved in with her dad in a town named Forks. While her first few weeks of school go by she meets an alluring boy named Edward Cullen. She becomes aware he is different from most boys and finally is told the truth....he’s a vampire. She and he fall in love and encounter plenty of danger from a world she didn’t know existed.
Honestly it was the best book I've ever read. I liked the love parts of it and the characters were really addicting. I couldn’t get the book off my mind for weeks.

Bella goes to live her father Charlie in Forks, Washington. She expects it to be another boring place but discovers more. She meets Edward at her new school and begins to adjust. But Edward's presence brings love and trouble. Edwards fears that since he is a vampire his nature might grow too strong for him to control. "Soon, though, the two are inextricably bound up in a love affair from which neither of them might escape undamaged. Nevertheless, TWILIGHT is a gripping blend of romance and horror that will entice fans of both genres." --- Norah Piehl

When 17-year-old Bella Swan moves to the small, Washington town of Forks, she wasn't expecting much but a dull life with her father. But what she gets is something that she wasn't expecting. Bella ends up crossing paths with an unusual boy, Edward Cullen. Bella can hardly get Edward out of her head, but he seems intent on staying out of her way. After several days, they finally confront each other, and Bella finds that there is no way Edward can be human. His glorious features, and perfection just don't allow room for mortality.
I know that my summary does the book no justice. There is so much more hidden in the folds of Stephenie's amazing plot, and you must experience it for yourself. I can't think of any word other than brilliant to describe this peice of literature. Stephenie's characters are easy to compare to, and, through Bella's point of veiw, you just get absorbed into the very pages of the text. I don't really classify this book as a horror novel, even though it is about vampires. I know that my summary does the book no justice. Bella never thought she'd be staying with her standoffish father in the small town of Forks, Washington, where it either rains or snows on a daily basis and the sun is never around when you need it. Now she's a student at Forks High School and in the middle of another experience she never thought she'd find herself in: the object of a vampire's affection. At least she thinks Edward Cullen is a vampire. After the rocky start and the constant fight to keep Edward out of her head, Isabella Swan's obsession for finding out who he truly is puts her and the people around her in extreme danger.
I really loved this book and at the end it leaves you on a major cliffhanger!!! Ugh! On the author's website she says to expect many more sequels! Check it out, its a must read for any vampire fiction lover for a person who likes Romeo and Juliet’s star crossed love! www.stephaniemeyer.com
