When Darren spies on his friend Steve he finds out that vampires aren’t just fictional beings. When Steve is bitten by Madame Octa, the vampire Larten’s pet spider, Darren rushes to Larten for a cure. Larten agreed to give it to him only if Darren becomes his new assistant, a half vampire. Darren agrees and once Steve is safe he goes off with Larten leaving everyone he loves behind.
