Blood and Chocolate

by Annette Curtis Klause
Categories: fantasy, horror
This main character in this book is a teen werewolf trying to balance her human role with her werewolf reality. She has been aware of changes in her pack, but now she has begun to notice changes in herself as a wolf. Also, how can she keep hiding her human boyfriend, and how will her pack reestablish itself without destroying itself first? All of her worlds must meet in the end in an exciting ending that will have you anxiously awaiting the final scene.
This book was thrilling down to the last page, with a tightly woven, very solid plot. It is very effectively written, allowing the reader to become engulfed in the story with little effort. This book is a definite good read, be sure to check it out!

The story of a young werewolf girl trying to fit in with normal humans. She ends up with the leader of her pack, but only because her human boyfriend finds out about her true form and is repulsed by it.
One of the worst books I've ever read. The whole plot was evidently pointless. The main character was trying to fit in with other people and NOT be forced into a prescribed life, but she ended up doing just that. No less, she ended up with a guy who was a) a lot older, b) at one point the object of her mother's lust and c) pretty much a total creep.

More fun than throwing up, but not much.

This book is about a young werewolf who just wants to be like everyone else in her high school after being chased out of their village. She falls in love with the head of the werewolf clan after her human boyfriend finds out about her.
