You may have heard of the legend of the Flying Dutchman, well, this book starts off like that. It is about a cabin boy and his dog that are the only ones of the crew who survive the stormy seas of Cape Horn. Captain Vaderdecken (captain of this ship, the flying Dutchman) went crazy and killed all his men. An angel from Heaven came down and put a curse on him to sail the seas forever never to rest. It spared the boy and his dog that would stay forever young helping people all over the world.
