Only after she is kidnapped does Stephanie realize that walking home alone was a bad idea. Stephanie knows that two other teen girls from her town have recently gone missing, but while she was walking, all Stephanie could think about was how much she misses her recently deceased dad, and how much she dislikes her mom’s new boyfriend. After she is grabbed from behind on her walk home, the next thing Stephanie knows, she is waking up in an abandoned shack, in the middle of the forest. Although she is tied up, Stephanie quickly manages to escape from the shack. As she makes her way through the forest, Stephanie tries to recall survival skills taught to her by her grandpa.
